PROGRAMMING DEPARTMENT APPLICATION
The Fallout: Miami Programming Department is a catch-all department for work inside the Creation Kit. Most of the work we do is not traditional coding tasks, but rather work with the various Creation Engine systems. Work inside the Creation Kit involves tasks such as implementing quests, developing gameplay systems, NPC AI scheduling, and editing records.
PROGRAMMING DETAILS
Programming create new quests and gameplay systems that add additional functionality to the game, generally through papyrus scripting.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Bethesda’s Creation Kit and coding in Papyrus.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing quests in Bethesda’s Creation Kit
- Ownership of Fallout 4 and all its official DLC on PC.
- Strong communication skills and experience with incorporating into teams remotely.
- Self organized, comfortable with giving estimates and proactively communicating around timeline.
Additional valuable skills include knowledge on interface comunication between Papyrus and as3 and/or writing custom Script Extender plugins .

MISC IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS
Misc Implementation are tasked with creating and editing various miscellaneous records inside the Creation Kit, often to aid the work of other departments and working closely with them, such as setting up actors and objects, editing quests, adding dialogue and creating NPC AI scheduling.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of Bethesda’s Creation Kit.
- Ownership of Fallout 4 and all its official DLC on PC.
- Strong communication skills and experience with incorporating into teams remotely.
- Self organized, comfortable with giving estimates and proactively communicating around timeline.
Additional valuable skills include the ability to create a navmesh, correctly set up activators and effects.
